"Police: Boy, 2, accidentally kills woman in store"

This is tragic, but could have been even more of a disaster if the child had harmed himself or some other totally innocent bystander. It behooves all of us who carry firearms to always be vigilant, and at all costs keep our firearms away from the 3 C's (Children, Criminals and the Clueless)

"Lil Durk pleads guilty, vows never to be in court again"

WTF Chicago? A 21 year old rapper gets probation for an unlawful possession of a firearm charge. On June 5, 2013 police saw him try to ditch the Glock in a parked car. The gun had been reported stolen on April 10th. Wait, there's more.... the 21 year old was within days of completing probation on ANOTHER unlawful possession charge from Oct of 2011 (which would have made him 19), when they caught him with a pistol with the serial number defaced. So in Chicago, an underaged felon gets probation on gun charges but a law abiding citizen can be denied a 'Must Issue' Concealed Carry license by any law enforcement agency, without having to state a reason and with the only appeal being back to the board that already denied your application? No wonder the poster city for gun control is awash in innocent blood

Target shooting adds $10Bil and 185,000 jobs to US economy According to papers released by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, more than 20 million people spent about $10B on Target Shooting, which accounted for $3.5Million in combined federal, state and local taxes. More people participated in target shooting last year (21M) than soccer (14M), baseball (12M) or skiing (8M). Want to keep your 2nd Amendment Rights safe? Take a friend who has never shot a firearm to the range. They will understand that guns are not a scary monster that jumps up and kills people all by themselves, and will be less likely to push for needless Gun Control.

Breaking News - Federal Judge rules Chicago ban on firearms sales and transfers unconstitutional. District Court Judge Edmund Chang ruled today that Chicago's outright ban on firearms sales and transfers within city limits violates the 2nd Amendment. Judge Chang says the 2nd Amendment provides "the right to acquire a firearm, although that acquisition right is far from absolute . . . But Chicago's ordinance goes too far in outright banning legal buyers and legal dealers from engaging in lawful acquisitions and lawful sales of firearms. . ." The actual effect of the ruling is minimal as the city and state will no doubt appeal, but this is another win for the Gun Rights movement in one of the worst strongholds of Gun Control in the country. Full ruling here: http://www.nssf.org/share/PDF/238%20-%20Opinion%20(3).pdf
