Open Carry legal again in the Magnolia State The Mississippi Supreme Court unanimously overturned a lower court ruling blocking House Bill 2, which clarified open carry laws. Circuit Judge Winston Kidd put the measure on hold after a suit by the Hinds County district attorney, saying the law was vague and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court vacated that ruling. The Bill was scheduled to become law on July 1st.
